HARO FREESTYLER 30TH ANNIVERSARY KIT

framefork

I have already talk about it a few months back, but it has now came true and available for any collector. It’s a piece of history manufactured the right way in Huntington, CA. Of course it has a price and it’s not like you can hang it on your wall like a skateboard, it’s really a piece to fully build up with the right era components…a Bmx Nerd thing! It still beautiful anyway and the video up on Haro Website is a proof of the amazing work done on this kit. (too bad we can’t embed it).

Collector’s gem alert! Haro Bikes is re-issuing the legendary “Freestyler” frame and fork in a special box for the 30th anniversary of the brand. This looks really clean, Chrome plated 4130 Chro-Mo made in Usa, limited to 300 pieces worldwide for a $1000 price tag. (I guess you also could find an og for the price by the way it’s a nice piece) (Pict courtesy of Bmxmuseum)

HARO MASTERS FREESTYLE CUSTOM BIKES

This is absolute Bmx geekery, but if you’re into those vintage 80’s bikes you’d probably notice the weird thing about this picture…2 of those flashy riders doesn’t exist in real life!! The og Haro master was only a 20″ bike and wasn’t released in any other size. So i guess the guy who did that has serious welding skills and also got a lot of og material. Anyway this is amazing to see a 16″ and a 24″ Freestyler fully geared with the same parts as the og 20″!….as i said, pure geekery! ⚡KoolFunc’88

MONGOOSE KOS KRUISER VINTAGE RE-ISSUE 2012

Didn’t even notice that before encountering on a ebay auction with one “new” KOS. I thought that strange as it’s a typical early 80’s bike…so it ended up that the beast got re-issued this year for about $700. Of course it gots the vintage look but definitly not the right gears-on compared to the og. It has to be a good commuter bike anyway…⚡KoolFunc’88
