AGENT PROVOCATEURS : 100 SUBVERSIVES SKATEBOARD GRAPHICS

Agents_prov_carayol

Ok, now that book name is talking to me…a lot! Even more cause it’s done by Seb Carayol, and for those who don’t know, this guy knows “more” than anyone else about skateboard graphics. I’m really stoked to see which obscure graphics he could have found beside the classic McKee/Cliver line-up!….Cant wait for that book! It’s already on hold at amazon.co.uk with some previews. Seb has also an other book in the seen/unknown series about the super great Todd Francis to be released soon.

SANTA CRUZ’S RISK IT (1990) TIM JACKSON PART

So much to say about this video-part. First, let’s start with this awesome graphic he throws at the camera, Never see it anywhere on deck…Then, the style, the tricks, the music, the venice spot, everything in this short edit is 100% skateboarding, plain and simple to me. I remember when this video came out in 1990, after each part you just want to go out and skate the fuck out the streets! I think it’s the only available part from Tim Jackson (Former DogTown rider) and this is Perfect!
