Time has changed…you couldn’t imagine a rapper named his album “I’m Gay” 10 years backward, today Lil B did it. It’s pretty smart to twist it as a Marvin Gaye Spoof cover… I think the point here his a critism on Rap status these days, all those guys with muscles, jewels, expensive bags, make up and shit…it’s pretty gay. The paroxysm is those rappers have a lot of homophobic rhymes and look like gay, anyway B turns the “Gay” term into “Happy” for the wordplay. His album is real good by the way, very soulful and the cover is great! -KoolFunc’88
