HENRY SANCHEZ “TERMINATOR” 90’S BLIND PRO-MODEL

Today’s flashlight going at an old 90’s board from Blind for pro rider Henry Sanchez. The Terminator portrait handled by Sean Cliver and fully airbrushed! (for the story, it was his 1st attempt to airbrushing!!!!) the work is amazing and stay real graphic instead of a simple photorealistic render. The Human version is nice too (after the jump). One more skateboard graphic jewel from the past. -KoolFunc’88

TIMELESS “WONDERLAND” GRAPHIC

One thing cool in skateboard graphics is that “pass, pass..” the tradition which make old graphics re-appeared era after era and never die. It can be as a spoof or remake, inspiration..there’s no misheard like you can see in other graphic disciplines (like graffiti for exemple). It’s always fresh to see a new “Ripper” or a new “Rag Doll” in the skateshop racks. Look how rad is that Jim Phillips’s wonderland Grosso remake for brazilian pro Alex Carolino. It don’t take any wrinkles since the late 80’s, anyway it looks better on the old shape -KoolFunc’88

EDD CARTIER’S ART (HUMAN SLAVERY)

When i came through those Edd Cartier’s illustrations confronting humans with extraterestrial beings I immediately thought about the fact that if “they” come on day, we’d probably became their slaves as if they found us first, they’re more advanced and scientificaly better. Edd show us some human slavery orchestrated by ET’s in a  pure retro anticipation style he drew for various Sci-fi comics in the 50/60’s. Can’t wait till they appeared and smashed all our stupid religions with a plain and simple explanation of our world creation before crushing us like ants! i stop now i’m going too far…Peep those crazy graphics from Edd  -KoolFunc’88
