Job Done! My 1st appearence in a contempory exhibition at La Derniere Vague during the year of culture and art in Marseille. That was super fun doing it, meeting cool people, seeing crazy art stuff, all fun, all good! As the exhibition is inspired by ride culture, my piece is based upon the classic World Industries (Never-Slick) Randy Colvin, art by Marc McKee for his “fuzzy” type of print. Graphic is inspired by 60’s blacklight painting with a touch of naive comic drawing. All black parts are made of cut-out velvet fabric, colours are spray-painted with fluorescent cans. 7,50 x 2,50 meters. I tried to keep the look of a real screen-printed deck. I never could do it without my good partner Soda and i have to x-tra thanks RobSqueegees&Co and PazeVmd for the handly help. Thx Guillaume & Richard for believing in my project!
