I have always said that this blog will remain an open book with resources accessible to everybody online. I somewhat miss those days spent delving into Tumblr, Flickr, forums, and obscure websites in search of information and news to feed my curiosity and enrich my own cultural understanding. Nowadays, we simply consume the unbearable concoction distilled by this Instagram app, which becomes rather distasteful, akin to something we've abused. Curiosity seems to have long departed; instead, we are fed by the machine, intoxicated by meaningless likes, and driven by the pursuit of followers. What a time we live in! In the worst-case scenario, we find ourselves trapped in it for various reasons—like job opportunities or visibility as artists or creators. It was inevitable that something which initially offered so much for free would eventually demand its dues, and I can't entirely fault it for that. I believe I will return to my Google searches, regardless of their direction. I can no longer bear the constant feeding and the square miniatures of photography; I need big screens for my old eyes. It's good to be back here sometimes.
