WEBRINGJUSTICE PIECE AT “LA DERNIERE VAGUE” EXHIBITION BY KOOLFUNC88

Job Done! My 1st appearence in a contempory exhibition at La Derniere Vague during the year of culture and art in Marseille. That was super fun doing it, meeting cool people, seeing crazy art stuff, all fun, all good! As the exhibition is inspired by ride culture, my piece is based upon the classic World Industries (Never-Slick) Randy Colvin, art by Marc McKee for his “fuzzy” type of print. Graphic is inspired by 60′s blacklight painting with a touch of naive comic drawing. All black parts are made of cut-out velvet fabric, colours are spray-painted with fluorescent cans. 7,50 x 2,50 meters. I tried to keep the look of a real screen-printed deck. I never could do it without my good partner Soda and i have to x-tra thanks RobSqueegees&Co and PazeVmd for the handly help. Thx Guillaume & Richard for believing in my project! MAKING OF MINI NYC SUBWAY-TRAIN (TOY PAINTING)

It’s been a long time since i have posted some diy handmade work making of, so here’s a commission-art i have done recently on a mini subway car toy. First if you ask me, i’m not quietly down with the idea, as making fake trains on plastic models is pretty whack when you don’t actually bomb trains for real. Anyway i took the thing like a game for model geek and have some fun making it, plus the guy who asked me for this is mad nice and i understand the purpose of his collection.
