This Jason Jessee Sungod re-issue deck is a mini-model and comes really clean like the Grabke. Graphic by Jim Phillips. It was kinda pain in the ass to find a NOS of this one…and cost also a lot of money. Now you can grab one for 50 bucks like in 1988. The shape is the pointy one without update, small kick on the nose, modern bases. Very clean transfered graphic, with some printing defaults like the screened version! They even took time to pull out the transfer residue off the truck holes… I shot a black stained one, but the stained blue and dipped orange look nice too. Once again, good job NHS! uhhh… used to have one… now I want a new one… but I know I’ll want to skate it, so maybe I’ll have to get two… but I have so many boards already… my wife is gonna kill me… please don’t post things like this any more, or I’ll have to name you in my future divorce proceedings…
hahhahha!!!…i think the same every time i bought a new one….
I had a look at it online and decided that I don’t want it. the shape is not the same as the one I had – it’s very bulbous in the tail and shoulders, and the nose is more severe. And at nearly 10 inches that too big for me to skate. Plus I remembered mine was a pale purple stain, and the colours were real different – I’m pretty sure the black outline was actually screened in a cyan blue! So this doesn’t fit my memory, so I’m gonna pass.
